Mazda to unveil Ryuga Concept

(autoinsidernews) - Mazda will unveil an all-new concept car, Mazda Ryuga, and its all-new Mazda Tribute Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

The Ryuga concept is a followup to the Nagare concept, which was revealed last month at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Nagare Japanese for flow introduced Mazda's future design direction. Ryuga Japanese for gracious flow continues development of the design drirection. Where the Nagare concept was primarily about form, the Ryuga reflects a high level of sophistication, and while still a concept, has enough practicality to be produced in the next decade, reports Trend.

Ryuga is Zoom-Zoom defined, said Laurens van den Acker, Mazda's global design director. It combines vibrance, confidence, fun and youth all in one ingenious package.
