During the labor fairs in Baku, 2,794 people, including 1,887 people for private sector, have been employed, Trend reports with reference to the Head Employment Department of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
The fair was attended by 1001 enterprises with 6,574 workplaces. 1,509 employed people are young. There are 937 women and 212 refugees and internally displaced persons.
During the fair, 166 people were forwarded to the training courses.
Since the beginning of the year, the Labor Ministry has held more than 40 fairs, with the participation of 3,103 companies with 27,565 workplaces. During fairs, 7,842 people have been employed. This indicator equaled 7212 in 2005.
