Jaguar C-XF Concept will be officially unveiled in January

(autoinsidernews) - After the embargo on the Jaguar C-XF Concept was broken and images of the C-XF started spreading across the web, Edmunds Straightline decided to let the rest of the cat out of the bag. The Jaguar C-XF Concept will be officially unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January, reports Trend.

The Jaguar C-XF Concept was penned by Ian Callum, also behind the current XK. Not only does the C-XF preview Jaguar's replacement for the S-Type, which will be called the XF, it also points to the design cues that will be seen in the next XJ sedan.

The Jaguar C-XF Concept is clearly a bold look at the brand's future styling and will many may question if it is true to the marque, Callum says, It is an exaggerated vision of the future. It doesn't matter if people don't recognize it as a Jaguar… it will become a Jaguar.

While the concept uses the ultra-trendy four-door coupe design, the production XF will be a more conventional four-door sedan when it's unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
