The Azerbaijan Export and Investments Encouragement Fund (AZPROMO) is negotiating with the German Technical Assistance Society (GTZ) on granting an expert aid in 2007 in several directions.
Teymour Taghiyev, Marketing Manager in the Field of Export Encouragement of AZPROMO, told Trend that the forthcoming assistance would be rendered in the direction of the introduction of the European quality standards, elaboration of the united brand on juices, improving the technology on collecting and storage of nuts, as well as increasing the ability to compete for the alcohol production.
We have already invited the experts to study the existing standards of the alcoholic products, said Mr. Taghiyev.
There is a commonly-recognized technical description of juices the Juice Code, where standards of all sorts of juices except pomegranate are described. Presently we are working at describing this kind of juice, and GTZ is rendering its technical aid to GTZ, since it is just Germans who are the trendsetters in the World of juices, said AZPROMO representative.
