Millikart Limited Liability Company fixed December 29 as the initial date of presenting its activities. If the preparation work is not complete, the event will be postponed till the next year, Trend reports quoting Millikart. According to the Company, the presentation will coincide with two other events UniBank migration from Processing Centre Azericard to Millikart and a pilot issue of a chip card of international payment system MasterCard by AzerDamirYolBank. Presently the number of the cards emitted via LLC exceeds 20,000, with 15,000 at the expense of UniBank. Millikart serves nearly 10 issuers (AzerDamirYolBank, AzerTurkBank, DebutBank, Microfinancing Bank of Azerbaijan, GanjaBank, ZaminBank, AtlanBank AFBank, UniBank and CIBank) while 18 banks are shareholders of the Center.
The process of migration of banks takes minimum 1,5 years, and therefore, the turnover of the cards in Millikart in 2006 is planned to be increased at the expense of the active issuers and delivery of up to 50,000 at the next year.
