Breaking the Chrysler Nassau Concept embargo

(autoinsidernews) - When Motor Trend released its February issue early, it broke the embargo on the Chrysler Nassau Concept a four-door, four-passenger luxury coupe that will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The Nassau Concept rides on the Chrysler 300 platform, which means it is rear-wheel drive, reports Trend.

While Chrysler is calling it a coupe, the Nassau looks like a shooting brake to us. Featuring short front and rear overhangs, the Nassau appears more visually compact than a comparable Chrysler 300C. The Nassau is a unique interpretation of Chrysler new design cues, featuring a swept back front fascia instead of the vertical grille of the 300C.

The Chrysler Nassau Concept is powered by a 6.1L HEMI V8 developing 425-hp mated to a five-speed automatic. The Nassau can reach 60 mph in just 5 seconds on its way to a 165 mph top speed.

Interior design draw inspiration from contemporary computers, cell phones and music players to provide familiarly between everyday electronics and vehicle controls.
