(autoinsidenews) - Lexus officially unveiled the first of its F' line of high-performance vehicles with the debut of the IS-F high-performance luxury sedan at the Detroit Auto Show, reports Trend.
The Lexus IS-F is powered by a 5.0L V8 producing 400+ hp and 350+ lb-ft of torque. The IS-F engine is equipped with engine-oil and transmission-fluid coolers for high-speed performance and a cylinder head-scavenging oil pump for high g-force driving. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which can be shifted with with paddle shifters. The IS-F will record a zero-to-60 time in less than 4.9 seconds.
