Awni Momani, the Director of Air Transport at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Jordan, has said a Memorandum of Understanding had been signed with the Azerbaijani Civil Aviation Authorities, Trend reports referring to a foreign media source.
The signing, he said, came at the conclusion of negotiations with his Azerbaijani counterpart on the liberalization of air transport between the two countries. Under the agreement, both parties will be allowed to operate as many flights as they desire without restrictions.
The CAA official told Jordan News Agency that the Memorandum of Understanding comes within the liberalization policy adopted by the two friendly countries with a view to developing economic, trade, investment and tourism relations.
During the negotiations, the two parties also agreed to amend the air services agreements signed in 1993.
