The Head of the Road Movement Organization Section of the State Head Road Police Department of Azerbaijan, Rafig Gasimov, informed Trend that the State Department will install light indicator boards at the traffic lights, which will indicate how much time has remained for turning on of the green light.
Initially the State Road Police Department decided to test the innovation and use such indicator board prepared by the Aviation Academy of Azerbaijan. If the example yields good testing results, the installations will be applied into all traffic lights. In the future, the Department intends to install sound stands for the disabled.
