Ismat Abbasov, Azerbaijan Agriculture Minister, is expected to give a speech at international forum, Agriculture and Bioenergy within the international exhibition вЂ" International Green Week вЂ" Berlin 2007, a source in the Agriculture Ministry of the Country informed Trend.
The Azerbaijan Minister is expected to touch upon the situation with the agricultural sphere in Azerbaijan and perspectives of its development
Several other specialists representing Azerbaijan Agriculture Ministry are expected to take part in the forthcoming event together with the Agriculture Minister of the Country.
Green Week, an exhibition of food industry, agriculture, and gardening is German most known agriculture and food expo. It will be held at the Berlin Expo centre on January 18-28, 2007. The visit of the Azerbaijan delegation to the event will last from January 19 to January 22, 2007.
Bilateral meetings with representative of state agriculture agencies of different countries, international organizations, as well as signing different agreements on cooperation are also possible.
This expo for the first time was held in 1926. All visitors of the forthcoming event will have an opportunity to see a wide spectrum of goods of food industry вЂ" starting with meat and sausages to fruits and vegetables from all around the World, as well as tea, vine, beer, and other strong alcoholic drinks. In addition, the visitors may see different seeds, agricultural equipment, green houses, and other agricultural production.
Within International Green Week Berlin 2007, different sales, different agricultural production, forestry, and landscape projecting and designing, as well as different symposiums, seminars, forums, and many other interesting arrangements are expected to be held.
This year, the international event will be held for the 72nd time. German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, JosРµ Manuel Barroso, the Chief of the EU Commission, Klaus Wowereit, the Mayor of Berlin City, Horst Seehofer, the German Federal Agriculture Minister, and other top-ranking officials are expected to take part in the opening ceremony of the forthcoming event.
