A traditional general meeting of the International Society of Turkish Industrialists and Business People (TUSAIB) took place in Baku at the end of last week. During the meeting, the report regarding the activities of the organization in 2006 was presented, Trend reports with reference to the statement of TUSIAB.
During the event, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Society was elected, which comprises of 14 members as well as members of other organizations.
The President of Tekfen Inshaat ve Tes.A.Sh, Batachar Baysal, was once again elected the Chairman of TUSIAB. TUSIAB has been functioning since 1994 and brings together nearly 250 Turkish companies. The amount of investments allocated by them for the economy of Azerbaijan exceeds AZN 2.5 bln. There are approximately 54,000 Azerbaijanis working in those companies.
