The Chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament Permanent Economic Policy Commission, MP Ziyad Samadzade, said that the economy of Azerbaijan in 2006 dynamically developed and the positive tendencies of the economical development of the past years emerged this year, Trend reports.

According to him, the fundamental fact is that in 2006 the economy of Azerbaijan developed so rapidly that it has no analogues in CIS territory.

We became leaders in the economical growth. This growth create strong base for the strengthening of national and economical security. The economical growth expands the opportunities for more balanced economy, he said.

Samadzade said that the oil factor has its share in the economical growth and it is natural because each country has these and other kinds of factors defining the development.

One of the strongest factors of the Azerbaijan economy is oil. Azerbaijan always had oil, but from the point of view of national interests, Azerbaijan could not effectively use it. National Leader Heydar Aliyev used oil revenues for the interests of the independent Azerbaijan. Presently Azerbaijan receives oil revenues. This factor creates a strong base for the reestablishment of Azerbaijan economy, he said.
