State Property Committee Revealed Illegal Actions Taken by Municipalities in Leasing State Property

The State Property Committee has registered the data on 10,500 units of immovable property that belonged to 13,000 state-run enterprises and their branches, in the Central Register. As Trend reports referring to a message being spread by the State Committee today, that the data on the enterprises are introduced after they are made more precise and studied.

With the aim to study the efficient use and the current situation with the state property, the State Committee also studies balance reports and acts on inventorying the property. In the reporting period, 4,100 statistic reports were received from the state-controlled enterprises. At the same time, inventory acts and financial reports presented by 650 joint-stock companies and 250 state-run enterprises were analyzed. The message indicated that if any digression with the situation over the state property is found in the reports, then measures will be taken in accordance with the existing legislation.

The State Property Committee has conducted a monitoring with the object to determine the efficient use and safe keeping of the state property in 120 joint-stock companies and state-run enterprises. Monitorings have been held with the object to establish facts on the municipalities' presenting state-owned lands without the State Committee permission. Measures on suspending illegal construction activities at 150 enterprises and facilities were taken in result of them.
