(autoinsidernews) вЂ" Chrysler Group announced pricing for its 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD вЂ" the automaker's first diesel-powered, full-size SUV вЂ" at the Washington Auto Show, reports Trend.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD will have a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) beginning at $38,475 (including $695 destination) for a Limited 4Г-2 model. The 3.0L V6 CRD engine will be available in Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and Overland and in 4Г-2 and 4Г-4 models. The Grand Cherokee Limited 4Г-4 will start at $41,715, the Overland 4Г-2 has a starting base price of $41,960, and the Overland 4Г-4 will start at $45,395.
The 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD will be powered by a Mercedes-Benz-built 3.0L V6 common rail diesel engine, producing 215-hp and a healthy 376 lb.-ft. torque. The engine will deliver an estimated 20 miles city and 25 miles highway for 4Г-2 models and 20 miles city and 24 miles highway for 4Г-4 models.
The 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD will begin to arrive at Jeep dealerships in March.
