The State Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan completed laboratory research on examples taken from Garakhanli village of the Agjabadi district and in Lokbatan Avenue.
Laboratory conclusions indicated that the deaths of the birds were caused by domestic infections. Both residences were disinfected and preventive measures were taken. The State Veterinary Service recommends that the population keep domestic birds in closed spaces and announced that the ban on hunting, selling and the use of wild birds is still in force.
