Audi won't build Shooting Brake version of TT
(autoinsidernews) - During an interview with the Dutch auto magazine AutoVisie, an Audi product executive said that the brand has decided against producing a Shooting Brake version of its new TT sports car.
Audi's Ulrick Hackenberg said that the TT-based Shooting Brake concept that debuted at the Tokyo Auto Show in 2005 will not make it to production. The primary reasons for the decision were due to concerns that the sport wagon would cannibalize TT coupe sales, without adding many new customers, reports Trend.
Hackenberg thought the TT Shooting Brake was a fantastically beautiful car and said he was personally disappointed it model wouldn't be built.
