The German Development Bank KFW General Manager for Financial Projects, Michael Yainsik, plans to make a visit to Azerbaijan on February 5-15. The Head of the KFW Baku Office, Natig Abdullayev, informed Trend that the visit is aimed at inspecting the conformity of the situation in the region with the researches held in 2006 by German consultants on rural areas. Consent had been given in the intergovernmental Azerbaijani-German negotiations to allocate в'¬6 mln for agro-financing in Azerbaijan.
According to the researches of the consultants, Sheki, Lenkoran and rural areas of Ganja were selected. During the visit, Yainsik plans to research Sheki-Zakatala and Kakh rural area.
According to Abdullayev, the agro-finances will be spread as micro-credits via partner-banks of German-Azerbaijani Fund which has branches in the regions.
