Azad Rahimov, the Azerbaijan Minister for Youth and Sports, informed journalists that mortgage is given with such low rates and privileges like nowhere else but in Azerbaijan, Trend reports. More simplification of mortgage term would mean presenting apartments free of charge, he said. Regarding the opinions on softening mortgage terms, he said that Azerbaijan offers more privileges in this respect. The Minister said that more simplifying the terms is impossible. We live in a country with market economy, Minister Rahimov said. He also said that construction of houses for youth is not part of the Ministry authority and its budget does not include funds in this respect. We simply proposed the construction companies building the houses for youth to cooperate their activity with the Ministry, Mr. Rahimov said.
