According to the operative data of the Azerbaijan Finance Ministry, the income part of the State Budget in 2006 was fulfilled by 100,1%, and instead of the expected 3836,767 mln. AZN, the State Treasury received 3880,088 mln. AZN.
Trend has been informed by the Finance Ministry, that the volume of returns in 2006 exceeded the real returns to the income part of State Budget 2005 by 88,8%. The supply of State Budget 2006 reached 3 779,397 mln. AZN versus the forecast at 4 024,767 mln. AZN. As a result, the expenditures were fulfilled by 93,9%. At the same time, the state expenditures exceeded the expenditures of State Budget 2005 by 76,7%. Despite the fact that the forecasts of State Budget 2006 were put with a deficit, the surplus at 100,690 mln. formed due to the non-fulfillment of the expenditure items, though the deficit was expected at 188 mln. AZN.
