Azerbaijan participated in the 115th meeting of the working group UN European Economic Commission for Customs Affairs and the 44th session of the Administrative Committee of International Convention on Cargo Transportations. Azerbaijan was represented at the events that went on from January 30th to February 2nd in Geneva by the Chief of the Head Department on Organization of Customs Control of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC), Shahin Bagirov, Trend reports referring to the SCC. During the session, Shahin Bagirov was elected a member of the Executive Council of the Convention. In general the Convention brings together 66 countries and of them only 9 are represented in the Executive Council.
