18 banks out of the total 23 banks-agents of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (AMF), operating within the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) have their branch network in the regions, Trend reports.
Rufat Aslanli, the Director General of NBA, said that borrowers of mortgage loans may appeal to the branches of the banks in order not to loose time to be accommodated. It will enable expanding the access of the population to these financial instruments. According to him, up to date, 25 credits have been given in the regions of the country. By the decision of the Board of NBA, the list of authorized credit organizations of the AMF is extending. Azerbaycan Sanaye Banki (former CIBank) has been recently included to this list.
