The State Veterinary Service of the Agriculture Ministry of Azerbaijan made clear the situation with the information on the death of birds in Digya village of Lankaran district of Azerbaijan.
Local veterinarians visited the place of incident, took examples of perished birds and examined in the zonal laboratory, Trend reports quoting the State Veterinary Service. Initial laboratory examinations showed that the death of birds caused by not bird flu, but colibacillosis.
The State Veterinary Service call on population to immediately inform the local veterinary services if they face death of domestic and wild birds.
