In 2006 the State budget of Azerbaijan received an additional AZN 36 mln as a result of tax inspections of oil consortiums and their contractor organizations.
According to contracts with oil companies, financial sanction do not apply to them, but a percentage is calculated at a rate of nearly 4%, Trend reports quoting Sahir Mammadkhanov, the Head of the Department of the Azerbaijan Taxes Ministry for Work with Large Taxpayers.
Of the additional finances, AZN 3 mln was from the percentage, and the remaining part was received as a result of additional accounts.
Nearly 250 out of 650 large tax payers are enterprises with special tax payment regimes.
