An ignition took place on February 14, 2007 during the technical inspection over the helicopters (on land) belonging to the State Concern of Azerbaijan AZAL. The ignition was immediately extinguished. No people damaged.
The helicopter Mi-8, produced by Poland (1987) has not been used by the State Concern for already 15 years. The motor of helicopter was launched on the land and an ignition took place. It was not intended to fly with this helicopter.
