A workshop on insuring of risks in the oil and gas sector began in Baku on February 15th with the support of Azerbaijani insurance company Malakut Sigorta.
David Sharp, a leading British expert in the insurance sector, informed Trend that his report will focus on insurance of construction of platforms for offshore oil and gas production.
I want to speak about the construction of ordinary steel offshore platforms, their key peculiarities and semi-submersible system for production, preservation and delivery of oil, he noted.
Representatives from local insurance companies, Azereneji, SOCAR, Shirvan Oil and Salyan Oil are in attendance.
