The next discussions of the bills On Freedom of Gathering and the Election Code of Azerbaijan, are expected to be held in Baku within the next three weeks. Arif Mammadov, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the Council of Europe (CE) informed Trend that preparations for the visit of representatives of the Venice Committee are currently underway.
The round table discussion which will be dedicated to the discussion of the above-mentioned issue is also expected to be held within the next three weeks. Representatives of OSCE, Azerbaijan's Government and the Central Election Committee of Azerbaijan are expected to participate in the forthcoming event as well.
