The National Co-ordinator of TRACECA from Azerbaijan, Akif Mustafayev, informed Trend that four technical projects are intended to be realized within TRACECA Transport Corridor in 2007.
At present, experts of the European Union are preparing technical tasks on these projects. The projects include creating a network of logistic centers in the route of the transport corridor, training dispatchers of air transport, training employees of transport organizations and regional program on marine magisterial (navigable ways) in the Black and Caspian Seas. The first project envisages the preparation of a feasibility study of creating logistic centers in all TRACECA participating countries. The final project intends to consider the financing and technical conception of inter-model transportations via model ways of seas and rivers in the region.
The realization of technical projects on training of employees of marine organizations, expeditors and transportation of hazardous cargo began in 2006. They are planned to be completed in August.
