Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend I.Khalilova /Kori Udovichki, Assistant to UN Secretary-General, UNDP Administrator Assistant and Director of UN Regional bureau, is on an official visit to Azerbaijan from 1 to 4 March, at the invitation of Azerbaijan Government, reports the UN Baku office.
This will be Udovichki's first visit to Azerbaijan and generally, to foreign countries within her new position, She took up office on 1 February, 2007.
The visit will involve meetings with high ranking officials of the government, focusing on UNDP assistance to Azerbaijan, particularly recommendations to the Azerbaijani Government on "transforming black gold to human gold". The talks will also involve ways to achieve Millennium Challenges in the country.
