Azerbaijan to Attend a Meeting of UBCCE

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend U.Ismayilova / The first meeting of the Managing Board of the Union of Black and Caspian Sea Confederation of Enterprises (UBCCE) will be held in Almaty on 6 March, according to Kazakhstan Union of Industrials and Entrepreneurs (KUIE).

The gathering will discuss and adopt an action plan of UBCCE for 2007, as well as establish three thematic committees of the Union (Regional Economic Integration, Strategic Development of Business and Environment, Entrepreneurship and Innovations).

UBCCE was founded at the initiative of the Association of Turkish Industrials and Businessmen TUSIAD for establishment of trade and economic relationships of the Black and Caspian Sea basin. At the present time the organization unites profile unions from 12 countries, including Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Kazakhstan, Romania, and Turkey.

The KUIE was founded in 2005 and currently unites some 50 enterprises specialized in oil and gas industry, machine-building, petro-chemistry, and construction fields of economy.
