Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend U.Ismayilova / Since March 2006 the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (AMF) has allocated 552 credits totaling AZN 17,700 mln. On 27 March, the AMF stated that 140 credits of the total (3mln manats) have been re-financed.
The AMF allocates mortgage credits through 23 of its authorized agent banks. A total of AZN 26 mln has been allocated for the AMF out of the 2006 Public Budget and AZN 20 mln out of the 2007 Public Budget.
