Azerbaijani Minister to Participate in Presentation of Investment Projects in Kazakhstan

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Khalilova / On 10 May, the Azerbaijani delegation headed by the Azerbaijani minister for economic development, Heydar Babayev, is leaving for Aktau in Kazakhstan to participate in an exhibition and an investment opportunities presentation of west Kazakhstan.

The Ministry announced that the visit is at the invitation of the governor of Mangistau region of Kazakhstan, Krimbek Kusherbayev.

The presentation will be held on 11 May. During the event the Azerbaijani businessmen will be able to establish co-operation with Kazakh businessmen. The Azerbaijani delegation will include representatives from over 20 companies specialized in the non-oil sector.

An associated office of the Azerbaijan Fund for Export and Investments Promotion (AZPROMO) has been set up in May with the aim of providing information support to Azerbaijani companies in economy, law, legislation, tenders and other issues as well as introducing them to local persons and companies and offering support in organizing forums, conferences and exhibitions.
