Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The consumer goods sold by the trade network of Azerbaijan in January-April increased by 14.2% as compared to the same period of 2006 and made up AZN 2.3bln, a source at the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan said on 10 April.
Some AZN 1,512,200,000 was obtained from sail of food goods, AZN 810.4mln from non-food goods. The increase of sail amounted to 11.3% and 20.4% correspondingly.
Some AZN 623.2mln were obtained from paid services provided to the population (33.5% increase), with 74.9% provided by juridical persons (34.2% increase) and 25.1% by natural persons (31.4% increase).
Some 16.2% of the wholesale was implemented by juridical persons, 48.6% by natural persons, and 35.2% by private entrepreneurs.
