Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / The Scientific Agrarian Centre of the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry reported that Azerbaijan and South Korea intend to implement a new research project.
Azerbaijani experts discussed the possible ways of implementation during the recent visit to Seoul.
Azerbaijan suggested holding scientific researches to prolong shelf life of agricultural plants after the harvest. The first stage will deal with the grapes, apples and tomatoes.
A special working group will be formed as soon as Korea's Agriculture Ministry approves the project.
The exact cost of the project has not been defined yet. The possibility of providing the funds by Korea, which has a large experience in financing of such projects, is not ruled out.
