Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / Anar Guliyev, the Manager of the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijani Fund of Export and Investment Promoting (AZPROMO), stated that the Fund has determined the date of the visit to Los Angeles for presentation of Azerbaijan's investment opportunities. The visit will be paid on 30-31 May.
Mikayil Jabbarov, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, will head the Azerbaijani delegation, which will include representatives from 15 companies.
Guliyev added that at present companies showing an interest in are from different fields, particularly, information technology, some banks and engineering and building companies.
The visit of the delegation to Los Angeles was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan and AZPROMO.
The US-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce, which united US leading companies, specialized in food industry and agriculture, will visit Baku on 21-26 May.
The mission will visit Azerbaijan's food and agricultural enterprises, meet with Government officials involved in these fields, including the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister for Economic Development.
The mission will render financial support to the US-Azerbaijani agricultural business forum, dedicated to the 13th exhibition of Inter Food Azerbaijan-2007 due in Baku on 23-25 May.
