Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend A.Ismayilova / The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev officially opened an underground station in Samad Vurgun Street, Baku on 17 May.
Approximately AZN 1mln has been spent on the construction work which was set up in 2006.
The underground has two exits - one facing Teze Bazaar market and the other facing the State Circus of Baku. Equipment for the underground which is 38.5 meters long was supplied from Iran, Turkey and several African countries.
