Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport reported that the 63rd session of the UN Social-Economic Commission on Asia and Pacific Ocean (UNSCAP) has begun in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on 17 May.
The session which is expected to continue until 23 May includes a meeting of high ranking officials (17-19 May), a Business-forum of the Asian and Pacific countries (18-19 May) and a meeting of the Ministers (21-23 May). The session will host discussions on the achievements in the development of Asian and Pacific regions.
The ministers will discuss the development of transport in the region and the increase of security in transport, as well as the Pusana Declaration.
