Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend E.Mammadov / Monitoring took place in the Shirvan National Park in the Salyan District of Azerbaijan to study the situation with 'bird flu'.
According to the Head of Salyan Veterinary Department, Mahammad Hasanov, the results of the monitoring which is the last of this season, will be known on 1-2 June. The monitoring was attended by the representatives of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, State Veterinary Service, Health Ministry, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Society of Hunters. Seven varieties of birds have been sent to the laboratory.
