Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismaylova / Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry will hire a consultant for the construction of large refrigerated food warehouses around Baku, Azerbaijani Minister for Economic Development, Heydar Babayev , said on the 5th of June.
Babayev noted that the consultant will help to correctly develop an accurate plan on the construction of the warehouses.
The Minister noted that the form of property of the enterprise was under consideration.
"It is not known yet whether it will be a state or private enterprise," he said. The enterprise could be owned by the state, yet the warehouses could be transmitted to the management by commercial organizations, possibly foreign ones. The Ministry of Economic Development is reconsidering the last of the food to be stored in the warehouses.
