Trend Trend S.Aliyev/ Presided by the Transport Minister of Azerbaijan, Ziya Mammadov , a meeting took place at the State Railway Department of Azerbaijan (SRDA) regarding violations on the rules of using the lands intended for the railways and lands located in the special security zone of the railways, a source at the Transport Ministry stated.
The Ministry stated that using the lands intended for the railways and lands located in the special security zone of the railways, illegal constructions and accumulation of the domestic wastes near the railways present threats for the movements of the trains.
According to the Head of SRDA, Arif Askerov , the situation is very serious and has violated the law, the land should be ceased immediately.
Transport Minister, Ziya Mammadov , stressed that they need to take urgent measures to ensure the security of the movement and of the citizens. This problem has already covered the whole Country. The ecology on these territories is also under threat.
To resolve the problem, they must carry out permanent control, as well as co-operate with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and local executive powers.
As a result of the meeting, a special commission was established to resole the problems.
