Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Aliyev / British Rapid Solutions company has held a presentation this week in order to familiarise Azerbaijani state bodies, companies and organizations with the prospects of development in the region.
Rapid Solutions was established in 1996 to meet the needs in telecommunications in the Caspian region and Central Asia. The company has been in operation for 10 years. During that period the company developed its services in different directions including electrics, instrument-making and control, services in IT and telecommunications, hydraulics, check and repair of engines, construction, man power.
According to the Director General of Rapid Solutions, Elvin Bayramov, the company has an approved program providing for nationalization of personnel engaged in the company (Azerbaijani experts will comprise up to 80-90%).
According to Bayramov, a decision on more access to Azerbaijani market, cooperation with state bodies and local companies was made as a result of the analysis held in 2006 by the central office of Rapid Solutions.
The state program on development of the regions is under implementation and the company tries not to stay back. Rapid Solutions has intentions to open its new regional representative offices for more tight contact.
Rapid Solutions is a distributor (Motorola, Hydrasun, SeaTel, SDMO, ABB, and ICE) and partner (Siemens, Marconi, Iridium, and others) of lots of world-known companies. The personnel of the company comprise 200 high-skilled employees.
For over 10 years the company has been working in the projects of such well-known companies as ВР, Bos Shelf, McDermott (within the framework of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli project), CDC at the rigs of Dada Gorgud and Istiglal, in the project of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline project, and so on.
