Trend U.Ismaylova / During the international Azerbaijani-Russian Trade-Economic conference ,Yuri Shedrin, the trade representative of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan, stated that the discussions on constructing the 'RusAl' aluminum plant in Azerbaijan are planned to be restored by the end of 2007.
The investments for the new plant will amount to$1bln, and some 6,000 new jobs will be created.
According to specialists, the expenditures on energy of aluminum production makes up 75% of the cost price, therefore the production of aluminum is impossible without creating energy capacity for production.
Due to this, within the framework of the project, Russia proposed a range of requirements on determining advantages for energy resources.
