Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / The Nakhchivan branch of the Azerbaijani Mortgage Fund (AMF) has been put into operation, according to the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA).
The official opening ceremony of the first branch of the fund was held on 29 June. The Deputy President of the NBA, Rufat Aslanly, the Executive Director of the AMF, Faik Mammadov, the representatives of the Nakhchivan branch of the NBA, as well as representatives of local loan, insurance and evaluation companies were in attendance.
The decision to open the Nakhchivan branch was made by the board of administration of the NBA in the May of 2007.
