Khalilova / According to the specified forecast on the public budget for 2007, incomes have increased by 8.2% (AZN 435.2mln) compared to the initial forecast and are now forecasted to come to AZN 5.771bln, while expenditures increased by 10.5% (AZN 600.2mln) making up 6.315bln, Azerbaijani Finance Minister, Samir Sharifov reported on 1 August during a meeting of the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of social and economic development in the first half of 2007 and to the facing tasks.
The budget deficit increased by AZN 165mln and will be covered by the funds remaining in the budget fulfilment for 2006, and whatever remains free in the treasury account.
The incomes to the free budget are expected to increase by AZN 477.1mln or 6.8% from the approved budget comprising AZN 7.531bln. The expenditures increased by AZN 780.6mln (10.8%) making up AZN 7.976bln.
