Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / The National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) has announced an open tender for auditing financial-industrial activities in 2007- 2009 in correspondence with international standards, according to the NBA. The tender will be held on 7 September. Tender proposals and bank guarantee can be submitted to the NBA by 6 September, other documents by 27 August.
Bank guarantee should comprise 1% of the cost of a tender proposal. Charge for participation in the tender is AZN 400.
The participants must be experienced in auditing central banks. The criteria for estimation of the proposals are the financial proposal and qualification of the contender. The winner of the tender will be announced after his candidacy is approved by the Azerbaijani President. The auditor can proceed to work within one month after completion of the financial year. Audit must be carried out annually during two months.
