Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan signed an inter-governmental agreement on transportation of Kazakh oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
Presently, the transport agreement is under development. The shareholders of the BTC pipeline make up four companies, which are operating in Kazakhstan. These are Chevron, Inpex, Eni and ConocoPhilips, which jointly hold a 15% participation share in the pipeline.
