Trend S.Aliyev / The President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovnak Abdullayev, said on 15 October that work will be re-established today to search people missing as a result of casualty of the MI-8t helicopter. The helicopter incurred casualty on 13 October.
"Storms took place over the recent two days and the divers could not work. Yesterday the whole area of the casualty was inspected by helicopter," Abdullayev said.
"Today the divers will continue working. We will try to use underwater devices and divers during the search works. We found and towed the helicopter to the shore. All key fragments have been delivered to the shore. The main conclusion will be made by the experts. A special commission has been established to investigate the reasons of the casualty," he said.
