Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Between January and September 30.8mln t of oil was produced in Azerbaijan, which is 33.5% more than in the same period of 2006, according to the Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee.
The majority of oil and gas was produced by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), which produced 24.2mln t of oil and 3.6bln cu m of gas.
Gas production in Azerbaijan between January and September 2007 comprised 7.54bln cu m, which is 52.2% more than in the same period of 2006.
In the aforementioned period, Azerbaijan produced 15bmln KW per hour of energy, which is 10.3% less then in the same period of 2006.
