Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Considerable increase is expected in production in metallurgical industry in Azerbaijan in 2008, the government said. The production of steel pipes will rise to 100,600 tons against 31,500 tons in 2007. In 2009 the pipe production will double and reach 240,000 tons, this figure will comprise 303,000 tons in 2010 and 321.000 tons in 2011.
Increase is also expected in production of aluminum, steel, non-ferrous steel and cost iron. Production of pipes will grow every year.
