Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has modernised the Ali Amirov vessel, which cable flexodrills at a depth of 200m, SOCAR reported.
The engineering research vessel is frequently used in diving work. As a result of the renovation, special compressor equipment has been installed for diver respiration at a depth of 60m. Also installed is air-helium and helium-oxygen equipment to be used at a depth of 10m through the carbonation method. A water station was also installed in the vessel for work using underwater hydro equipment.
The vessel is owned by the Caspian Sea Oil Flotilla of SOCAR.
