Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) announced a tender for the sale of its own oil consignment from the Novorossiysk Port. The volume of the consignment is 600,000 barrels (83,000t), according to a source at SOCAR
In January oil shipments via Baku-Novorossiysk were terminated due to oil volumes being sent to the oil refinery plant to receive fuel for the electric power stations. This year Azerbaijan ceased the import of gas from Russia which was originally used in the electric power stations as fuel for electricity.
In 2007 SOCAR oil consignments from the Novorossiysk Port have been purchased by the following companies
Glencore Energy UK Ltd - February (450.000 barrels);
REOC Ltd - March (450.000 barrels);
Glencore Energy UK Ltd - April (450.000 barrels);
Sunoil SA - May (450.000 barrels);
Oil Refineries LTD - June (450.000 barrels);
Oil Refineries LTD - July (1.200 barrels);
Glencore - август - (1.2mln barrels);
